DANCE CLASSES
Dance classes require a year-long commitment in order to ensure consistency in preparation for the Spring performance.
Little Praisers
(Ages 4-6)
Teacher: Kat Dockery
Mission: To worship God through movement to music & learn valuable lessons and stories from the Bible. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
Praising the LORD in dance begins with our youngest students. This class is a 45-minute class designed for little praisers to learn to worship God with their whole bodies in a structured environment. They learn to follow the leader (teacher) in movements and in learning simple dance terms. The music we use are Scripture songs, worship choruses, and even some international songs.
Tuition: $80 per student/semester ($20/month)
Materials Fee: $10 per year
Costume Rental Fee: $30
Beginners- Israeli Folk Dance
(Ages 10+)
Teacher: Abby Dill
Mission: "Let them praise His name with dance!" Psalm 149:3
An introductory class for Israeli Folk dance. Children will learn to worship and praise God with beginning partner, circle and line dances.

Intermediate- Israeli Folk Dance
(Ages 10+)*

Students will learn harder dances and steps, progressing in skill and coordination.

Pre-Ballet
(Ages 4-7)
Teacher:Abby Dill
This an 30-minute introductory class to learn the very basics for ballet technique and terminology. Ballet students will need to purchase ballet shoes and bring leggings to wear for class. See ballet dress code.

Ballet 1 and 2
(Girls only - Ages 8+)

Mission: Every time the Bible mentions dancing, it is always for joy. "Then shall the young women rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old shall be merry. I will turn their mourning into joy; I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow." Jeremiah 31:13
This is an introductory class for learning and building on basic ballet techniques with grace. Ballet students will need to purchase ballet shoes and bring leggings to wear for class. See ballet dress code.

Ballet 3 and 4
(Girls only - ages 10+)*

In this class students will learn to build strength and stability in preparation for/in pointe shoes. Pre-pointe students will need to purchase/provide their own ballet shoes (pointe shoes when applicable) and bring leggings to wear for class. See ballet dress code.
Tuition: $100 per student/semester ($25/month)
Materials Fee: costume rental in the spring - $30
Tap
Age 10+
Teacher: Abby Dill
In this class, students will learn the basics of tap, rhythm, and musicality. Tap students will need to purchase/provide their own tap shoes.
